Description:

The Women in Leadership program is an opportunity for women in the Independent sector to connect with and learn from other successful women, from both inside and outside of education, share effective practices, lessons learned and strategies for encouraging other women into leadership.

It will also provide the opportunity to work with a professional companion, an experienced school leader, throughout the duration of the program.

The program will be presented by Dr Barbara Watterston, CEO of the Australian Council of Educational Leadership (ACEL) and respected Australian author, leadership researcher and professional learning facilitator.

Day 1: Why a focus on women in leadership?

Day 2: Crafting leadership identity – who am I as a leader?

Day 3: Sharing experiences and learnings

Professional companioning and work shadowing experiences will occur between days 2 and 3.
