They are taught through the relevant learning areas and offer opportunities to enrich and enhance the content of the learning areas.” (AC v9)

Participants attending this two-session workshop will engage in learning that focuses on how the General Capabilities listed below can be used to enhance learning, teaching and assessment practice.

  • Critical and Creative Thinking
  • Digital Literacy
  • Ethical Understanding
  • Intercultural Understanding
  • Personal and Social
  • Literacy
  • Numeracy

The online workshop will provide continued opportunity for learning and will specifically focus on exploring the Literacy and Numeracy General Capabilities in relation to assessment as, of and for learning.

This workshop will also provide time for participants to explore the functionality and interactivity of the new Australian Curriculum website.
