DESCRIPTION:"The general capabilities reflect the understanding and skills 
 that students need to be confident and creative individuals\, lifelong lea
 rners and active citizens. They are taught through the relevant learning a
 reas and offer opportunities to enrich and enhance the content of the lear
 ning areas." (AC v9)\n\nParticipants attending this two-session workshop w
 ill engage in learning that focuses on how the General Capabilities listed
  below can be used to enhance learning\, teaching and assessment practice.
 \n\n 	Critical and Creative Thinking\n 	Digital Literacy\n 	Ethical Unders
 tanding\n 	Intercultural Understanding\n 	Personal and Social\n 	Literacy\
 n 	Numeracy\n\nThe online workshop will provide continued opportunity for 
 learning and will specifically focus on exploring the Literacy and Numerac
 y General Capabilities in relation to assessment as\, of and for learning.
 \n\nThis workshop will also provide time for participants to explore the f
 unctionality and interactivity of the new Australian Curriculum website. T
 his interactive function of the website supports teachers to make purposef
 ul connections between the three dimensions of the curriculum – the Lear
 ning Areas\, General Capabilities and Cross-Curriculum Priorities.\n\nThis
