Program Overview: This three-day program supports the induction of early career teachers into the profession through a collaborative, team-based approach that brings together early career teachers and their mentors. Participants are provided with dedicated time away from the busyness and demands of school life to connect, reflect, and grow in a safe and supportive environment, while also expanding their professional networks.
The program features respected authors Dr Mark Dowley (The Classroom Management Handbook) and Madhavi Nawana Parker (Educator Wellbeing), who will work directly with attendees to share practical strategies and insights. Additional contributors include a specialist in purposeful parent communication and a group of Highly Accomplished and Lead Teachers who will demonstrate how they use AI to enhance learning.
Throughout the program, school teams will engage with strength-based frameworks to identify achievements, set goals, and determine next steps. Each early career teacher will receive a copy of Educator Wellbeing and The Classroom Management Handbook to support their induction and enrich the mentoring experience.
