Honouring children’s rights is critical for every child to thrive and flourish. This series will empower early childhood leaders and educators to design inclusive and engaging play environments that promote every child’s wellbeing, development and growthsupporting smooth transitions and strong foundations for success from three to four years of age.

Your commitment: 24 contact hours plus any required reading.

AITSL Professional Standards for Teachers: Focus areas 1.1, 1.5, 2.5, 3.7, 4.4 and 6.3

Program Overview: This four-part series invites early childhood educators and leaders to shine a spotlight on what is truly means to educate and care for three-year-olds.

As three-year-olds preschool reform is embedded in South Australian practices, this series will empower educators to design play-rich and developmentally responsive environments. Participants will research:

  • inclusive environments that challenge and extend
  • pedagogies that support creativity and critical thinking
  • structures and systems that align with principles of practice
    programs and planning that reflects children’s authentic voice autonomy and agency.
