The Power of the Network

27th March, 2024 @ 9:00 am

Date/Time:

27/03/2024 - 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Description:

Ignite collaboration, amplify your expertise and foster a thriving community of educational leaders!

The Power of the Network is for current deputy principals and heads of schools who are seeking to further develop their leadership knowledge, executive skills, leadership capacity and capability.

This group will grow the AISSA leadership pipeline by focusing on succession planning and leadership development, not only for themselves but also for middle leaders in their own schools.

2024 will provide the opportunity to work with Dr Barbara Watterston, CEO of Australian Council of Educational Leaders, on ways to build the capacity of middle leadership which is often the responsibility of deputies and heads of schools.

An exciting component of the program is the opportunity to work with a professional companion and/or critical friend, drawn from a pool of current school leaders.

Participants are able to access the expertise and experience of the network, visit a range of schools, engage with thought leaders, and receive one-on-one leadership support from colleagues at AISSA if desired.
