Description:

The early childhood sector has identified an ongoing need to better respond to and support children with identified behavioural difficulties and/or disability in early childhood environments. Early learning educational settings offer many opportunities for early intervention and intentionally inclusive practice supporting engagement, wellbeing and continued developmental progress. This series of workshops will address challenges and build upon the capacities of early learning leaders, educators and families.

Participants will engage with information supporting informed approaches to the specific needs of children who experience diagnosed and undiagnosed social, emotional and behavioural difficulties in early childhood contexts and in the practical application of tools.

Keys focus areas include:

  • adjustments
  • inclusive practices
  • accessing professional services
  • parent communication and partnerships.

10 August, 9.30 am – 12.00 pm
