One of the most significant roles of the school board is the selection, appointment, ongoing support of the principal. Rigorous, transparent and well-defined selection processes are crucial as are processes of induction and ongoing support that fosters the wellbeing of the leader and whole school community.

Engage with an expert panel, led by AISSA Chief Executive Anne Dunstan, who will foreground innovative approaches to Principal appointment, induction, mentoring and review processes that are not only fundamental to growing and sustaining great leaders but also in building successful schools.
