This session led by Paul Campey, Chartered Accountant and specialist governance consultant, is designed for those school leaders who have minimal financial training or knowledge. It will focus on what leaders need to know, what to look out for, financial performance indicators and understanding budgets. It aims to build the capacity of leaders to better understand school financials and will address basic theory and concepts and the importance of school context in effective financial management.

Audience: School leaders who have minimal financial training or those who wish to update their knowledge.
