Excellence in Inclusive Education – Reviewing Inclusive Practices

Description:

This program will empower school leaders, together with key leadership staff, to review current understanding and practice of inclusive education through a research lens and practical opportunities. Participants will be encouraged to courageously examine and plan for change management using cycles of improvement. This may include a review of current school policies and procedures and/or goal setting and implementation.

Duncan Rintoul, Director of Rooftop Social, will lead the three sessions, including a Term 1 introductory Zoom session and two full-day face to face workshops during Term 2 and Term 4.

The AISSA team will facilitate site visits to schools during the year at the request of participating schools.

Five member schools will be invited to participate in this professional learning opportunity. A minimum of 2 staff members per school including 1 school leadership member will be required to attend.

This is a series.  By registering you are committing to attending the following sessions:

Session 1: 26/03/2024, 3:30pm-5:00pm, via Zoom – a link will be sent closer to the event
Session 2: 04/06/2024, 9:00am-3:30pm, AISSA (face-to-face)
Session 3: 17/10/2024, 9:00am-3:30pm, AISSA (face-to-face)
