Program Overview: School teams are invited to collaborate with leading expert Dr Shyam Barr in Educate to Self-Regulate: The Implementation Studio. This year-long, evidence-informed professional learning experience moves schools from theory to practice in Self-Regulated Learning (SRL).

Self-regulated learners plan, monitor, and evaluate their own learning, skills essential for lifelong success. The Implementation Studio provides a structured, research-based pathway for schools to make SRL visible and sustainable in daily practice.

Across 12 months, school teams will:

  • learn how to teach SRL using cognitive science and educational research
  • implement evidence-based strategies through guided action research
  • build shared language, tools, and confidence to lead whole-school change.

With expert guidance, curated resources, and a collaborative network, this program empowers educators to transform classrooms and shape confident, self-directed learners.
