This project (now in its second year) provides a “leading leaders to lead” model of professional learning whereby school leaders with core responsibility for curriculum implementation, and developing teaching, learning, assessment and reporting practices are supported to successfully lead their school through stages connected with the familiarisation and implementation of the revised Australian Curriculum v.9.

In 2024 the design of the face-to-face workshops have been remodelled to provide continued practical and focused support to schools in relation to the implementation and enactment of the Australian Curriculum v.9. The new model consists of high-impact half day sessions, 9.00am -12.30pm. In these half-day sessions:

• information will be shared about what is the same and different in version 9 of the revised curriculum
• considerations for schools in relation to implementation and enactment will be highlighted and discussed
• time will be given for participants to explore the functionality of the Australian Curriculum v.9 website and how new features of this website can be used to facilitate the effective planning, mapping and sequencing of learning and teaching programs
• a continued feature of this half day session will be the valuable sharing of practice from a school-based presenter.

Online health checks provide ongoing support to school leaders re implementation of the AC v9 and for evaluation of this work.
