Program Overview: Join subject-specific Australian Curriculum v.9 Network Hubs – dynamic online communities designed for teachers, curriculum and learning leaders, specialist educators, inclusive education staff, and SSOs. Each hub features expert guest speakers and focuses on participant-driven questions and priorities identified in the 2025 Network Hub Series.
Engage in rich, collaborative discussions, strengthen your curriculum expertise, and access tailored insights and resources that support meaningful classroom practice. In 2026, all Learning Area hubs will centre on a shared challenge: how to engage with the curriculum in ways that minimise overload and maximise deep, conceptual and rigorous learning opportunities.
These sessions are designed to be practical, responsive, and empowering, helping educators navigate curriculum demands with clarity and confidence. Whether you are refining your practice or leading change, the Network Hubs offer a valuable space to connect with peers, learn from experts, and take action.
Each subject-specific hub pair will explore the following key focus areas:
Join Rebecca Garrett (MASA and Trinity College) for a dynamic 2 x 2-hour online workshop designed to support teachers in mapping the Australian Curriculum v.9 Mathematics across Years 3–9. Explore how to create learning experiences that build deep conceptual connections, promote mathematical reasoning, and develop problem-solving skills. Discover strategies to make content meaningful and applicable, helping students grow in confidence and mathematical knowledge. This professional learning highlights how to design sequences that connect to prior knowledge. Ideal for teachers of Years 3–9 and mathematics leaders, this workshop offers practical tools to strengthen curriculum planning and enrich classroom practice.
