This series will shine a spotlight on the critical importance of play and play-based learning as a leading research-based pedagogy. A deep dive into curriculum will highlight opportunities for aligning both the Australian Curriculum and the Early Years Learning Framework and improve pedagogical partnerships between early learning sites and schools.

This series will explore the neuroscience of playful learning and how an understanding of play personalities support teachers’ inclusive planning. Woven throughout this series will be an action-research investigation to reveal the delightful hidden world of play in ELC and school settings while uncovering young children’s perspectives on their learning through play.
