The South Australian Department for Education will be offering a mid-year intake for new Foundation students in 2024 which will be preceded by a 2023 mid-year intake for eligible students in Department for Education Kindergartens and Preschools.
This workshop will provide an opportunity for Principals, Business Managers, Heads of School and ELC Directors/Manager to come together to discuss key areas of the potential impact of these moves on future ELC and Foundation intake arrangements and on current intake policy and processes. Focus areas for discussion will include staffing arrangements, enrolment processes, transition programs and communication and marketing strategies.
