This workshop will explore the legislative and regulatory responsibilities that are unique to School Boards. This will include the Education Standards Board’s registration requirements for schools which impose significant obligations on School Boards, with implications for individual School Board members.

This workshop will also explain the specific obligations to be met to ensure School Board members can be satisfied that the Board and the School are meeting their Commonwealth and State Government obligations.

The workshop will also address other key responsibilities of School Board members in the Independent Sector.

 

Target audience: new and established board members
