The workshop offers strategies to make authentic connections between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures and the ACARA curriculum\, the EYLF and the AITSL Professional standards. You will be provided with a range of resources to support you embed reconciliation into staff professional learning and to link Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories\, cultures and perspectives into the curriculum in meaningful ways.\n\nAs educators\, we are crucial in supporting young Australians appreciate the achievements of our First Nations Peoples and helping them understand that reconciliation is an important part of our journey as individuals\, as a community and as a nation. As part of the morning\, you will hear from guest speakers who will share transformative school-based practices in reconciliation.
