SUMMARY:Working with Reconciliation in your Educational Context
DESCRIPTION:This event is now fully booked.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nThis workshop is 
 designed specifically for teachers and educators who are inspired to learn
  more about reconciliation. The workshop offers strategies to make authent
 ic connections between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and
  cultures and the ACARA curriculum\, the EYLF and the AITSL Professional s
 tandards. You will be provided with a range of resources to support you em
 bed reconciliation into staff professional learning and to link Aboriginal
  and Torres Strait Islander histories\, cultures and perspectives into the
  curriculum in meaningful ways.\n\nAs educators\, we are crucial in suppor
 ting young Australians appreciate the achievements of our First Nations Pe
 oples and helping them understand that reconciliation is an important part
  of our journey as individuals\, as a community and as a nation. As part o
 f the morning\, you will hear from guest speakers who will share transform
 ative school-based practices in reconciliation. Through this professional 
 learning\, you will have the opportunity to think more deeply about what r
 econciliation means to you and consider how you can implement change withi
 n your context.\n\nThis session will be led by Reconciliation South Austra
 lia and supported by guest speakers from schools.\n\nPresenters:  Natalie
  Gentle (Reconciliation South Australia) and Kate Mount (AISSA)\n\nTarget
