SUMMARY:Wellbeing for Change - Making an Impact
DESCRIPTION:Professor Donna Cross has worked extensively across Australia a
 nd internationally leading Health Promotion and Education Research teams t
 o improve children’s and adolescents’ wellbeing\, with a focus on ment
 al health and social-emotional wellbeing. Donna has an international reput
 ation for developing school and community-based interventions to enhance s
 ocial and emotional development and reduce anti-social behaviour among chi
 ldren and young people.\n\nIn 2023\, Donna’s work with schools focussed 
 on understanding the characteristics and elements of effective whole-of-sc
 hool approaches to wellbeing. This year\, Donna will build on this work an
 d lead participants to enact sustainable change. The focus of these worksh
 ops will be to explore a school’s readiness to implement\, the process o
 f de-implementation and how to map current practice.\n\nOver the two days\
 , participants will examine approaches\, policies\, and practices\, using 
 the foundations of the AISSA Wellbeing Toolkit\, to leave with a plan that
  will support effective implementation at the school. Join us for this opp
 ortunity to work with Donna and be supported to implement real and lasting
  impact for the wellbeing of students\, staff\, and school leaders. We war
 mly welcome those who will be joining us for the first time and those who
