 ronment - G Suite
DESCRIPTION:Educator and UTB technology expert Adrian Francis will present 
 this session in collaboration with AISSA key staff.\n\nIn this two-part se
 ries\, participants will learn how to use a range of digital tools to enab
 le powerful learning and assessment. They will explore and apply key instr
 uctional design principles to create innovative solutions that allow teach
 ers to work more efficiently whilst engaging with effective online pedagog
 ical practices. This session will assist teachers in the current environme
 nt and beyond.\n\nParticipants will engage with practical digital tools th
 at:\n\n 	Explore techniques for designing and documenting a range of tasks
  in an online environment\n 	Support implementation of a variety of format
 ive and summative assessments that provide timely feedback to students and
  inform instruction\n 	Enable students to demonstrate understanding\n 	Cap
 ture evidence of collaboration between peers and teachers\n 	Facilitate co
 mmunication of achievement and engagement of learners.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nRequi

 \;\n\nSession 1 Friday 8 May\, 2.00pm – 3.30pm\n\nIn this session partic
 ipants will learn how to:\n\n 	Use tools that facilitate online collaborat
 ion\, discussion\, co-design and sharing of ideas\n 	Capture\, document an
 d manage quality evidence of learning in multi-modal ways including virtua
 l/digital portfolios and the creation of interactive/live content.\n 	Use 
 formative assessment and feedback tools that feed learning forward ie self
 -marking forms\, online quizzes\, surveys\n 	Track and analyse progress an
 d achievement including the use of built in learning analytics\n 	Use tool
 s for scaffolding learning and differentiation\n 	Enhance and communicate 
 engagement\, agency\, achievement and growth.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nSession 2 Wedn
 esday 13 May\, 3.45pm – 5.15pm\n\nIn session 2\, participants refine and
  continue to deepen their knowledge.  This will include:\n\n 	Tools that 
 facilitate assessment and evidence gathering of online collaboration\n 	Te
 chniques for assessment of practical tasks\, supervised tasks and investig
 ations\n 	Techniques that enhance reliability and validity of assessment p
 ractices\n 	Tools and methods for assuring summative assessment integrity\
 n 	Online tools that assist teacher collaboration for a range of purposes
