Learning occurs mainly through language. The CELF-5 A&\;NZ Fifth Edition Screening Test supports teachers in quickly and accurately screening children and young people (ages 5 years to 21 years 11 months) who may be experiencing language difficulties.\n\nThe workshop is intended to build capacity to use the CELF-5 in order to:\n\n identify students who may require further testing by a Speech Pathologist\n provide information regarding language profiles of students\, supporting intentional planning for a range of students and intervention where required\n focus on teaching and learning strategies that foster supportive language environments for all students\, including strategies to support students who are not typically developing or are at-risk.\n\nChristine D’Arcy is a Speech Pathologist with specific interest and experience in working with school-age students.
