Learning occurs mainly through language. The CELF-5 A&\ ;NZ Fifth Edition Screening Test supports teachers in quickly and accurate ly screening children and young people (ages 5 years to 21 years 11 months ) who may be experiencing language difficulties.\n\nThe workshop is intend ed to build capacity to use the CELF-5 in order to:\n\n identify students who may require further testing by a Speech Pathologist\n provide inform ation regarding language profiles of students\, supporting intentional pla nning for a range of students and intervention where required\n focus on teaching and learning strategies that foster supportive language environme nts for all students\, including strategies to support students who are no t typically developing or are at-risk.\n\nChristine D’Arcy is a Speech P athologist with specific interest and experience in working with school-ag e students.
