SUMMARY:Teacher Certification Workshop A: Introduction to Certification (Se
 mester 2) via Zoom
DESCRIPTION:The AISSA provides support and professional learning for teache
 rs in Independent Schools in SA who are seeking to become certified as a H
 ighly Accomplished or Lead Teacher (HALT) and have their Principal’s sup
 port to do so.  Certification is a national process and uses the Austral
 ian Professional Standards for Teachers (APST) as a basis for certifying t
 eachers at the Highly Accomplished (HA) or Lead career stages.\n\nFor furt

 cation  and AISSA Certification.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nTarget Group\n\nTeachers w
 ho are working at or towards the Highly Accomplished or Lead Teacher caree
 r stage of the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers (APST) and w
 ho have the support and approval of their Principal.  Collecting and col
 lating the evidence of your impact for the Stage 1 application usually tak
 es one to two years. Workshop A is also suitable for Principals and line m
 anagers/mentors who want to find out more about certification and how they
  might support and/or mentor their teachers to apply.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nWorksh
 op A: Introduction to Certification\n\nThis workshop aims to:\n\n 	introdu
 ce certification\, unpack the requirements of the process and discuss elig
 ibility\, suitability and readiness to apply.\n 	support applicants and th
 eir leaders/mentors to develop a deeper understanding of the APST\, explor
 e how their practice aligns to the career stages\, how to evidence their i
 mpact and the benefits of certification for teachers and schools.\n\nAppli
 cants are encouraged to invite their mentor or line manager to ensure a sh
 ared understanding of the process and requirements is developed.\n\nWorksh
 op B:  Thursday 27 August  9am - 1pm (face to face)\n\nWorkshop C:  Thu
 rsday 8 October  9am - 3pm (face to face)\n\nThis workshop series is free
 \, however\, the total cost of certification for applicants is $1825 - pai
 d in stages.  The three-workshop series is offered each semester and mus
 t be completed in the correct sequence and within two years. Applicants mu
 st have the support of their Principal to apply for certification.\n\nFor
