 hed and Lead Teachers: Workshop A\, semester 1
DESCRIPTION:Workshop A: Introduction to Certification\n\n 	This workshop wi
 ll introduce certification\, unpack the requirements of the process and id
 entify your suitability and readiness to apply.\n 	This workshop supports 
 applicants to develop a deeper understanding of the APST and to explore ho
 w their practice aligns to the career stages.\n 	Applicants are encouraged
  to bring their mentor or line manager to ensure a shared understanding of
  the process and requirements is developed.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nTarget audience:
  Teachers who are working at or towards the Highly Accomplished or Lead Te
 acher (HALT) career stage of the Australian Professional Standards for Tea
 chers (APST) who have the support and approval of their Principal.  Colle
 cting and collating the evidence of your impact for the Stage 1 applicatio
 n usually takes one to two years.\n\nDelivery mode: Zoom\n\nPresenters: Ma
 ry Pickett\, AISSA\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nThe AISSA provides support and profession
 al learning for teachers in Independent Schools in SA who are seeking to b
 ecome certified as a Highly Accomplished or Lead Teacher (HALT) and have t
 heir Principal’s support to do so.\n\nCertification is a national proces
 s and uses the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers (APST) as a 
 basis for certifying teachers at the Highly Accomplished (HA) or Lead care
 er stages. This workshop series is free for applicants\, but the cost of c
 ertification is $1825 (paid in stages).\n\nParticipants must register onli
 ne and complete all 3 workshops in sequence within the semester or across 
 the year (or in some situations 2 years) before they can submit their appl
 ication for certification as a Highly Accomplished or Lead Teacher (HALT).
 \n\nThis workshop series is free for applicants\, but the cost of certific
 ation is $1825 (paid in stages).  The three-workshop series (A\, B and C)
  is offered each semester and must be completed in the correct sequence an
 d within two years. Applicants must have the support of their Principal t
