DESCRIPTION:Workshop B: Professional Writing Requirements and Evidence of I
 mpact \n\n 	Certification requires a deep reflection on your teaching pra
 ctice and an evaluative mindset to explore the impact of your professional
  practice on colleagues and students and to collect relevant evidence and 
 articulate its alignment to the Australian Professional Standards for Teac
 hers (APST).  \n 	The professional writing requirements of the process ar
 e significant and require a targeted approach. Applicants will engage in w
 riting annotations and aligning their evidence to the descriptors. \n 	Th
 is workshop will also explore the role and requirements of referees in the
  certification process.  \n\n&nbsp\;\n\nTarget audience: Teachers who ar
 e working at or towards the Highly Accomplished or Lead Teacher (HALT) car
 eer stage of the APST who have the support and approval of their Principal
 .  Collecting and collating the evidence of your impact for the Stage 1 a
 pplication usually takes one to two years.\n\nDelivery mode: Face to face\
 n\nPresenters: Mary Pickett\, AISSA\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nThe AISSA provides suppo
 rt and professional learning for teachers in Independent Schools in SA who
  are seeking to become certified as a Highly Accomplished or Lead Teacher 
 (HALT) and have their Principal’s support to do so.\n\nCertification is 
 a national process and uses the APST as a basis for certifying teachers at
  the Highly Accomplished (HA) or Lead career stages. This workshop series 
 is free for applicants\, but the cost of certification is $1825 (paid in s
 tages).\n\nParticipants must register online and complete all three worksh
 ops in sequence within the semester or across the year (or in some situati
 ons two years) before they can submit their application for certification 
 as a Highly Accomplished or Lead Teacher (HALT).\n\nThe three-workshop ser
 ies (A\, B and C) is offered each semester and must be completed in the co
 rrect sequence and within two years. Applicants must have the support of t
 heir Principal to apply for certification.\n\nFor further information plea

 nt COVID-19 restrictions the AISSA is required to enforce set limits on th
 e number of attendees for this event based on social distancing and maximu
