DESCRIPTION:Brightpath enables teachers to make informed and reliable profe
 ssional assessment judgements of their students’ writing through compari
 son against a set of calibrated exemplars and descriptors.\n\nThe accompan
 ying software records the results of assessments and provides immediate re
 porting. The data and information then available assist teachers to plan e
 ffectively for all students in their classes and to differentiate learning
 .\n\nThis professional learning opportunity will provide learning leaders 
 implementing Brightpath within their school opportunities to:\n\n 	engage 
 in professional discourse about Brightpath within the wider context of lea
 rning and teaching\n 	consider ways to optimise learning for students\n 	b
 uild the capacity of teachers in relation to developing students as writer
