 ss the new South Australian Year One Numeracy Check\, the Mathematics 
 Assessment Interview for South Australian schools (MAI SA)\, a powerfu
 l\, research-backed tool developed by the Department for Education SA. Thi
 s one-on-one assessment uncovers students’ mathematical thinking across 
 key domains: counting\, place value\, addition/subtraction\, and multiplic
 ation/division. In just 15–20 minutes\, teachers gain deep insights usin
 g a growth point framework to track progress.\n\nRegister now for this one
 -day\, face-to-face training\, led by Sarah Pendrey (St John’s Grammar S
 chool) and Desiree Gilbert (AISSA)\, designed to equip Year 1 teachers and
  Primary Learning/Numeracy Leaders with the skills to confidently administ
 er the MAI SA and use results to drive targeted instruction.\n\nParticipan
