Description:

As a member of a Project Based Learning (PBL) Studio, schools will continue to be supported with current research, access to expert practitioners, tools for measuring impact, resources and an opportunity to form links with external organisations connected to their focus area.  Core principles of each studio are as follows:

  • impact analysis – the impact of PBL on learning outcomes
  • leading and scaling for change
  • reimagining assessment – working with capabilities and transfer
  • connecting to external organisations – partnerships beyond school
  • interdisciplinary learning.

Each project will be curated into a project card with each school receiving a digital package of PBL Studio Project Cards to support further projects.  Studio days will involve a combination of whole day masterclasses, half day workshops and in-school support. The year will culminate in a Studio Exhibition showcasing the work of each school. Studio partners include:

  • Faculty of Transdisciplinary Innovation – University of Technology, Sydney
  • Parramatta Marist High School, Sydney
