DESCRIPTION:This seminar provides an in-depth examination of risk
 management principles as they relate to the employment\, management\, and
 wellbeing of school staff. The session outlines the legal requirements
 under the Work Health and Safety Act 2012 (SA) and offers practical
 guidance on integrating risk management into organisational culture and
 decision-making processes. Participants will explore structured
 methodologies for applying risk management strategies across everyday

 management principles in the employment\, management and wellbeing of
 school staff to ensure legal compliance under the Work Health and Safety
 Act 2012 (SA). The session will help participants understand their duties
 as school leaders and how to embed risk management as part of school
 culture and decision-making. \n\nParticipants will examine how to apply
 structured risk management processes to everyday areas of school
 operations. \n\nBy the end of this seminar\, participants will be able
 to: \n\n 	identify\, assess\, control and monitor risks associated with
 the employment and management of staff\, including psychosocial hazards
 such as workload\, fatigue\, and interpersonal conflict\n 	model a culture
 of care\, compliance\, and accountability\n\nAs well as manage the
 following specific risk areas: \n\n 	First Aid: Ensure adequate training\,
 resources\, and systems\n 	Camps and Excursions: Plan for staff
 supervision\, safety\, and post-camp evaluations\n 	Fatigue Management:
 Recognise early warning signs of fatigue and implement reasonable
 adjustments\n 	Teacher Workload and Wellbeing: Balance operational needs
 with reasonable expectations\, ensuring adequate support and consultation\n
 	Psychosocial Hazards: Identify\, assess\, and mitigate risks related to
 stress\, conflict\, bullying\, and role overload in accordance
