DESCRIPTION:This seminar provides an in-depth examination of risk managemen
 t principles as they relate to the employment\, management\, and wellbeing
  of school staff. The session outlines the legal requirements under the W
 ork Health and Safety Act 2012 (SA) and offers practical guidance on inte
 grating risk management into organisational culture and decision-making pr
 ocesses. Participants will explore structured methodologies for applying r
 isk management strategies across everyday school operations.\n\nYour commi

 isk management principles in the employment\, management and wellbein
 g of school staff to ensure legal compliance under the Work Health and S
 afety Act 2012 (SA). The session will help participants understand their
  duties as school leaders and how to embed risk management as part of scho
 ol culture and decision-making. \n\nParticipants will examine how to appl
 y structured risk management processes to everyday areas of school operat
 ions. \n\nBy the end of this seminar\, participants will be able to: \n\
 n 	identify\, assess\, control and monitor risks associated with the emplo
 yment and management of staff\, including psychosocial hazards such as wor
 kload\, fatigue\, and interpersonal conflict\n 	model a culture of care\, 
 compliance\, and accountability\n\nAs well as manage the following specifi
 c risk areas: \n\n 	First Aid: Ensure adequate training\, resources\, and
  systems\n 	Camps and Excursions: Plan for staff supervision\, safety\, an
 d post-camp evaluations\n 	Fatigue Management: Recognise early warning sig
 ns of fatigue and implement reasonable adjustments\n 	Teacher Workload and
  Wellbeing: Balance operational needs with reasonable expectations\, ensur
 ing adequate support and consultation\n 	Psychosocial Hazards: Identify\,
  assess\, and mitigate risks related to stress\, conflict\, bullying\, and
