Each workshop will reflect what it means to teach\, learn\, and play outside the box with practical and playful master classes providing participants with curriculum connecti ons to support children’s creativity and their natural curiosity about t he world.\n\nParticipants will identify and act upon opportunities for str engthening pedagogical partnerships with the Australian Curriculum v9 and the Early Years Learning Framework v2. They will explore practical ways th ese two documents can be used side by side to support educational teams to plan and implement continuous learning for children in their preschool ye ars and in their transition to formal schooling.\n\nWorkshop 1 - The Langu age of Play\nWe will identify characteristics used to define playful learn ing through the lens of neuroscience. Curriculum spotlight - playful appro aches to Maths through outdoor learning and play.\n\nWorkshop 2 – The Hi dden World of Play\nWe will explore play personalities and how we can use knowledge of these in learning environments to identify intrinsic motivato rs. Curriculum spotlight - playful approaches to English and Inquiry based learning through outdoor learning and play.\n\nWorkshop 3 – Parenthood and Play\nWe will explore playful futures\, the link between play states a nd flow states. Curriculum spotlight - playful approaches to STEM\, HASS\, Design and Technology and Digital Technology (outdoor coding) through out door learning and play.\n\nWorkshop 4 – The State of Play for Wellbeing\ nWe will explore wellbeing in nature\, nature journaling and reimagining b eyond the gate experiences.
