Event Categories:

For OSHC Providers (Leaders, Teachers & Educators)

Meeting Focus

We are most fortunate to have Portside Christian College hosting this meeting where OSHC Director Sheryl Godfrey will guide an insightful tour and share information about their service. This will be followed by rich discussions on the two focus topics for this meeting, the New Child Care Package and staff mentoring.

Scope of Session

Part 1 – In this session we will discuss each service’s progress in the roll out of the New Childcare Package effective 2 July 2018. Participants will have the opportunity to identify and explore key aspects of the website and resources to support services working with families as they transition to the new system.

Part 2 – In the second part of the session we will look at effective strategies and programs for staff mentoring. Participants will have the opportunity to identify key areas critical for staff teams to work professionally, effectively and collaboratively in an OSHC environment.

Participants will also provide feedback to enable effective planning for our next OSHC Implementation Group meeting on Wednesday 20 June 2018
