SUMMARY:OSHC Educators’ Network meeting 1
DESCRIPTION:The OSHC Educators’ Network is structured for OSHC leaders an
 d educators from our member schools to engage collaboratively in ways whic
 h invigorate and enrich practice. It provides a forum for provocation and 
 discussion and facilitates a community of practice approach to ongoing pro
 fessional learning. Implementing the My Time Our Place Framework and the N
 ational Quality Standard\, participants will have the opportunity to visit
  and tour OSHC services and engage in rich group discussions relating to c
 urrent research on educational theories and practices\, focused topics and
  other questions and issues raised.\n\nThe first meeting in 2020 will focu
 s on one of the Exceeding Themes: Practice is shaped by meaningful engagem
 ent with families and/or the community. This theme recognises that best pr
 actice is informed by and tailored to the unique strengths and needs of ch
 ildren\, families and the community. Key areas for discussion will include
 :\n\n 	practice reflects the voices and strengths of children\, families a
 nd the community\n 	practice demonstrates shared decision-making and probl
 em solving with families and/or the community.\n 	practice suits the uniqu
 e environmental\, cultural and community context of the service\n 	practic
 e fosters a culture of inclusiveness.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nTarget Group \n\nOSHC
