 ing together educators from the Early Years to Year 12\, researchers and i
 ndustry to consider new thinking and possibilities and explore how STEM ed
 ucation can provide students with new opportunities and pathways for a str
 ong and vibrant future.\n\nParticipating in the ‘Why AI?’ workshop wil
 l assist you make informed decisions about how you can lead your school fo
 rward in a world with Artificial Intelligence. This is workshop is about t
 he big picture issues for education in an AI world and is designed to supp
 ort non-technical leaders and educators be aware of the significant opport
 unities and the risks.\n\nAI is gamechanger for schools. ELC to Year 12 ed
 ucational leaders act with integrity and respond ethically. What does this
  mean in an AI world? Why will expanding our awareness of AI empower stude
 nts as digital citizens?\n\nIs your school taking advantage of the AI used
  by staff and students? What are the risks for education of not intentiona
 lly engaging with AI? AI presents educators with ethical issues that we ha
 ve never faced before.\n\nThe AI industry is investing heavily in programs

  AI can be authentically integrated into curriculum and has the capacity t
