DESCRIPTION:The National Teacher Certification (NTC) program empowers exper
 t teachers to gain national recognition for their impact on student learni
 ng and professional leadership—celebrating excellence\, inspiring others
 \, and elevating teaching across schools and communities.\n\nYour commitme
 nt: 13 contact hours plus portfolio development. This program takes appr
 oximately 12 – 18 months to complete.\n\nAITSL Professional Standards 
 for Teachers: Focus areas 6.1\, 6.3\, 6.4 and 7.4\n\nDelivery mode: 2 x

 e National Teacher Certification (NTC) program provides experienced teache
 rs with the opportunity to have their practice nationally certified as Hig
 hly Accomplished or Lead Teachers in alignment with the Australian Profess
 ional Standards for Teachers. \n\nThe program recognises and celebrates e
 xpert teachers who have a sustained impact on student learning and contrib
 ute significantly to the professional growth of colleagues and the wider s
 chool community. \n\nThrough a rigorous\, evidence-based assessment proce
 ss\, candidates demonstrate the depth and breadth of their professional 
 practice across the four domains of the Standards—Professional Knowledge
 \, Professional Practice\, Professional Engagement\, and Leadership. \n\n
 The NTC program is designed as a professional learning and certification p
 rocess. It supports teachers to: \n\n 	Reflect deeply on their impact and
  professional growth\n 	Engage in professional dialogue and collaboration\
 n 	Strengthen the quality of teaching and leadership within their schools.
  \n\nCertification is nationally portable and endorsed by the Australian 
 Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL)\, ensuring recognitio

 our Expression of Interest in the Semester 2 2026 National Teacher Certifi
 cation Program. In South Australia it is essential that applicants and pri
 ncipals have engaged with and understand the requirements of the National 
 Teacher Certification Program. Your principal will be contacted to endorse
  your application. Once endorsed the fee for this program is payable unles
 s written notice of cancellation is received 14 or more days prior to the
