DESCRIPTION:This workshop is designed for those who are new to the school b
 oard. It will focus on good governance practices including:\n\n 	particula
 r responsibilities for school board members\n 	roles and responsibilities 
 including legal\, compliance and fiduciary responsibilities\n 	what it mea
 ns to be an effective board member regarding participation\, relationships
 \, confidentiality and meeting procedures.\n\nVUCA is a boutique advisory
