This workshop is designed for those who are new to Board work. It will focus on good governance practices including:

  • particular responsibilities for Board members
  • roles and responsibilities including legal, compliance and fiduciary responsibilities
  • what it means to be an effective Board member regarding participation, relationships, confidentiality and meeting procedures

David Spear, Director VUCA

VUCA is a boutique advisory firm which helps organisations deal with critical challenges – particularly volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity. David Spear was previously the State Director of the Australian Institute of Company Directors SA/NT and is a 2013 alumnus of the prestigious Harvard Business School Governance Program.

Registration for this event will incur a fee of $50.00 (GST inclusive) per participant.  This fee is invoiced after the event and is payable even if you do not attend on the day as the AISSA will still incur costs.  If notice of cancellation is received before 07/06/2019 the fee will be waived.
