DESCRIPTION:Coaching in Action days provide opportunities for coaches and c
 oaching leads to see coaching in action in a school environment and hear f
 rom leading coaches who have worked over time to build a coaching culture 
 in their schools. Three Coaching in Action opportunities will be provided 
 in 2024 – one at Westminster School\, Marion in Term 2 and two at Bright
 on Grammar School\, Melbourne during Term 3\, on 29 and 30 August.\n\nDr M
 ark Dowley\, Brighton Grammar School will lead this day at\, and in collab
 oration with\, Westminster School. This day is designed to show the system
 s and structures that support a coaching program in a school. Mark will ou
 tline the history of how a coaching approach has been successfully impleme
 nted at his school\, including the coaching pillars that underpin their pu
 rpose and philosophy and an outline of their coaching cycle.  Coaching si
 mulation\, viewing of classes to practice data collection and reflecting o
 n a whole coaching cycle will take place. Resources for later reference wi
