DESCRIPTION:Coaching in Action days provide opportunities for coaches and c
 oaching leads to see coaching in action in a school environment and hear f
 rom leading coaches who have worked over time to build a coaching culture 
 in their schools. Three Coaching in Action opportunities will be provided 
 in 2024 – one at Westminster School\, Marion in Term 2 and two at Bright
 on Grammar School\, Melbourne during Term 3\, on 29 and 30 August.\n\nDr M
 ark Dowley will lead this day at Brighton Grammar School\, Melbourne. It i
 s designed to show the systems and structures that support a coaching prog
 ram in a school. Mark will outline the history of how a coaching approach 
 has been successfully implemented at his school\, including the coaching p
 illars that underpin their purpose and philosophy and an outline of their 
 coaching cycle.  Coaching simulation\, viewing of classes to practice dat
 a collection and reflecting on a whole coaching cycle will take place. Res
 ources for later reference will also be provided.\n\nParticipants will be 
 responsible for arranging their own travel and accommodation requirements 
 for this professional learning day in Melbourne.\n\nEvent date: 29/08/2024
