DESCRIPTION:Coaching in Action days provide opportunities for coaches and c
 oaching leads to see coaching in action in a school environment and hear f
 rom leading coaches who have worked over time to build a coaching culture 
 in their schools. Three Coaching in Action opportunities will be provided 
 in 2024 – one at Westminster School\, Marion in Term 2 and two at Bright
 on Grammar School\, Melbourne during Term 3\, on 29 and 30 August.\n\nThe 
 Accelerated Coaching Day\, led by Dr Mark Dowley\, is aimed at taking your
  coaching skills to the next level. The day takes a deeper look at the ski
 lls required to be a master coach and is largely practical. It will includ
 e visiting classes\, using video\, practicing conversations\, examining hi
 gh impact instructional techniques and discussing how to overcome common c
 oaching challenges.  Coaching practice will be followed by watching your 
 coaches in action\, receiving and giving coaching feedback and reflection.
  Resources for later reference will also be provided.\n\nParticipants will
  be responsible for arranging their own travel and accommodation requireme
 nts for this professional learning day in Melbourne.\n\nAudience: Coaches\
