SUMMARY:Instructional Coaching Series: Accelerated Coaching at Brighton
 Grammar School
DESCRIPTION:Coaching in Action days provide opportunities for coaches and
 coaching leads to see coaching in action in a school environment and hear
 from leading coaches who have worked over time to build a coaching culture
 in their schools. Three Coaching in Action opportunities will be provided
 in 2024 – one at Westminster School\, Marion in Term 2 and two at
 Brighton Grammar School\, Melbourne during Term 3\, on 29 and 30
 August.\n\nThe Accelerated Coaching Day\, led by Dr Mark Dowley\, is aimed
 at taking your coaching skills to the next level. The day takes a deeper
 look at the skills required to be a master coach and is largely practical.
 It will include visiting classes\, using video\, practicing conversations\,
 examining high impact instructional techniques and discussing how to
 overcome common coaching challenges.  Coaching practice will be followed
 by watching your coaches in action\, receiving and giving coaching feedback
 and reflection. Resources for later reference will also be
 provided.\n\nParticipants will be responsible for arranging their own
 travel and accommodation requirements for this professional learning day in
 Melbourne.\n\nAudience: Coaches\, School leads implementing coaching in
