DESCRIPTION:Presented by John Somerset\, CEO of Somerset Education\, this w
 orkshop is tailored for School Board members and will focus on effective f
 inancial management for schools. This will include information on what a S
 chool Board member needs to know\, what to look out for\, financial perfor
 mance indicators and understanding budgets.\n\nThis workshop is particular
 ly useful for those new to the School Board and those wishing to improve t
 heir financial literacy.\n\nJohn Somerset has practiced in chartered accou
 nting for over 30 years\, with the past 25 years dedicated to the financia
 l health of non-government schools. Qualifications include a Bachelor of C
 ommerce\, University of Queensland and a Masters by research at Queensland
  University of Technology on his passion – financial sustainability of s
