SUMMARY:Early Childhood Directors’ Network Meeting 1: Child Protection
DESCRIPTION:These meetings will focus on a range of local and national curr
 ent issues and topics that relate to the early childhood sector. ELC Direc
 tors and Coordinators will come together to collaborate and discuss their 
 roles and responsibilities as highly regarded leaders in their field of ex
 pertise.\n\nIn 2021\, the Early Childhood Directors' network will provide 
 opportunities to:\n\n 	respond to state and national legislation and assoc
 iated regulations\n 	consider effective strategies and approaches in relat
 ion to the assessment and rating of services\n 	explore effective ways to 
 self-assess and promote excellence in the delivery of early childhood educ
 ation and demonstrate continual quality improvement\n 	access resources on
  quality programs\, practices and policies in early childhood education\n\
 nTerm 1 meeting focus: Child Protection\n\nPresenter: Mary Pickett\, AISSA
  Senior Educational Consultant\n\nThis session will provide participants w
 ith an opportunity to access information on child protection including the
  following key areas:\n\n 	Requirements\n 	Protective Practices\n 	Keeping
  Safe Child Protection Curriculum and other resources\n\nTarget audience: 
 Early Learning Centre Directors/Coordinators\n\nDelivery mode: face to fac
