SUMMARY:Cyber Risks and Rewards: The Challenges and Opportunities for Educa

DESCRIPTION:Last year\, Education faced the highest level of ransomware att
 acks\, with 44% of organisations hit.  For educational institutions\, th
 e financial impact of a ransomware attack in 2020 was crippling. The total
  bill was on average AU$3.64 million - the highest across all sectors surv
 eyed\, and 48% above the global average.\n\nThe risks are high\, but how c
 an schools manage risk while taking advantage of the incredible power for 
 good that the digital world presents for the citizens of the future who th
 ey are educating right now?\n\nThis seminar will provide the fundamental i
 nformation and understanding needed to actively engage with the rapidly ev
 olving dimension of cyber in schools\, in both institutional security and
