Constructs for Pedagogical Improvement day 2 of 2
1st April, 2019 @ 9:30 am
Date/Time:
01/04/2019 - 9:30 am - 3:30 pm
Description:
This opportunity is designed for instructional leaders of learning and teams of their teachers who are committed to pedagogical improvement across their school. Expression of interest documentation will be sent to schools in January.
Participants in this course will engage in three constructs – Learning Design; the Australian Curriculum General Capabilities; and the National Literacy and Numeracy Learning Progressions over two days.
Schools will then select one of these constructs to explore, implement and embed as a pedagogical pathway for improvement within the context of their own school. Please refer to the diagram.
A commitment to this project includes attendance at professional learning, impact hubs and undertaking action to reshape their pedagogy and learning environment. Impact hubs, as communities of practice, facilitate the sharing of expertise and opportunities to provide feedback and consider ways forward.
