DESCRIPTION:The National Teacher Certification (NTC) program empowers
 expert teachers to gain national recognition for their impact on student
 learning and professional leadership—celebrating excellence\, inspiring
 others\, and elevating teaching across schools and communities.\n\nYour
 commitment: 13 contact hours plus portfolio development. This program
 takes approximately 12 – 18 months to complete.\n\nAITSL Professional
 Standards for Teachers: Focus areas 6.1\, 6.3\, 6.4 and 7.4\n\nDelivery

 practice nationally certified as Highly Accomplished or Lead Teachers in

 program recognises and celebrates expert teachers who have a sustained
 impact on student learning and contribute significantly to the professional
 growth of colleagues and the wider school community. \n\nThrough a
 rigorous\, evidence-based assessment process\, candidates demonstrate the
 depth and breadth of their professional practice across the four domains of
 the Standards—Professional Knowledge\, Professional Practice\,
 Professional Engagement\, and Leadership. \n\nThe NTC program is designed
 as a professional learning and certification process. It supports teachers
 to: \n\n 	Reflect deeply on their impact and professional growth\n 	Engage
 in professional dialogue and collaboration\n 	Strengthen the quality of
 teaching and leadership within their schools. \n\nCertification is
 nationally portable and endorsed by the Australian Institute for Teaching
 and School Leadership (AITSL)\, ensuring recognition across all

 Expression of Interest in the Semester 1 2026 National Teacher

SUMMARY:Navigating the First Years of Teaching: A Team Approach
DESCRIPTION:Build professional networks\, reflect on practice\, and grow
 together through expert led sessions and strength-based
 learning. Designed for early career teachers and their mentors\, this
 three-day program builds confidence and capability as a new teaching
 practitioner through a collaborative\, team-based approach. \n\nYour
 commitment: 19.5 contact hours plus any required reading\n\nAITSL
 Professional Standards for Teachers: Focus areas 1.5\, 2.6\, 3.5\, 4.3
 and 6.3.\n\nDelivery mode: 3 x face-to-face sessions.\n\nPresented

 induction of early career teachers into the profession through a
 collaborative\, team-based approach that brings together early career
 teachers and their mentors. Participants are provided with dedicated time
 away from the busyness and demands of school life to connect\, reflect\,
 and grow in a safe and supportive environment\, while also expanding their
 professional networks. \n\nThe program features respected authors
 Dr Mark Dowley (The Classroom Management Handbook) and Madhavi Nawana
 Parker (Educator Wellbeing)\, who will work directly with attendees to
 share practical strategies and insights. Additional contributors include
 a specialist in purposeful parent communication and a group of Highly
 Accomplished and Lead Teachers who will demonstrate how they use AI to
 enhance learning. \n\nThroughout the program\, school teams will engage
 with strength-based frameworks to identify achievements\, set goals\,
 and determine next steps. Each early career teacher will receive a copy
 of Educator Wellbeing and The Classroom Management Handbook to support
