SUMMARY:Brightpath: Next Steps
DESCRIPTION:Brightpath enables teachers to make informed and reliable profe
 ssional assessment judgements of their students’ writing through compari
 son against a set of calibrated exemplars and descriptors.\n\nThe accompan
 ying software records the results of assessments and provides immediate re
 porting. The data and information is then available assist teachers to pla
 n effectively for all students in their classes.\n\nBrightpath: Next Steps
  creates the opportunity to further develop and nurture students' writing 
 skills through literature and a focus on language\, storytelling\, charact
 er and the creative process.\n\nThis professional learning provides learni
 ng leaders who have implemented Brightpath within their school with the un
 ique opportunity to work with fellow professionals to improve learners’ 
 writing and reading.\n\nCourse materials:\n\n 	13 resource booklets\n 	6 p
 hysical copies of texts\n 	3 case studies\n 	3 work booklets\n 	USB compri
 sing all course content in a digital format including PowerPoints and pres
 enter notes.\n\nAfter completing this train-the-trainer course\, participa
 nts can present and share the materials within their school.\n\nSchools ar
 e recommended to register two Learning Leaders to support the implementati
 on of Brightpath: Next Steps within and across their school.\n\nTarget aud
