SUMMARY:Behaviour and Students with Disability: Positive\, Proactive and Pe
 rsonalised
DESCRIPTION:School leaders play a significant role in leading staff to conf
 idently support the behaviour of students with disability. Through explora
 tion of aspects of whole-school practice\, planning\, consultation and doc
 umentation\, leaders will build capacity to support inclusion and make dec
 isions in the complex environment of their school.\n\nWorkshop 1\n\nPartic
 ipants will explore current understandings of behavioural and social-emoti
 onal development with Solasta Psychologists.  They will consider how appl
 ication of this knowledge will facilitate personalised approaches to suppo
 rting the behaviour of students with disability.\n\nSolasta is a social en
 terprise offering a range of psychological and related services for childr
 en\, young people\, adults and their families.  Their team provides evide
 nce-based assessment and therapy services.  AISSA is pleased to partner w
 ith Solasta to provide this workshop series.\n\nWorkshop 2 \n\nExplore key
  processes and actions informing targeted behaviour support\, safety and e
 ffective consultation with families\, students and staff\, identifying key
  areas for improvement.\n\nFollowing identification of any areas of intere
 st during workshop 2\, school leaders may elect to request the support of 
 the AISSA Inclusion Team to engage in school-specific\, supported improvem
