SUMMARY:Being and Becoming: Early Childhood and OSHC Leaders\, session 3 of

DESCRIPTION:This series of four sessions will focus on developing leadershi
 p capacity for early childhood and OSHC educators seeking opportunity to b
 uild on their professional knowledge base and skills as emerging leaders. 
 Key areas:\n\n 	Review and discuss leadership capabilities and competencie
 s that support early childhood educators to lead effectively.\n 	Explore d
 ifferent leadership styles to create and sustain high-quality learning env
 ironments through leading self and leading others.\n 	Consider and discuss
  the benefits and impact of critical reflection in relation to their own l
 eadership behaviour and practices\, and how they influence the environment
  around them.\n 	Engage in small groups to discuss and share ideas in resp
 onse to provocations including\, ‘leadership is a journey of joint inqui
 ry\, exploration and reflection’.\n 	Discuss and pose questions in respo
 nse to information shared during the workshop.\n 	Develop professional goa
 ls for ongoing development and learning in a leadership capacity.\n\n&nbsp
