areas: \n\nJoin Dr John Nicholas Saunders\, Lecturer in Education at
Australian Catholic University\, as he explores how drama can be integrated
into primary and middle years classrooms through a clear scope and
sequence. Drawing on research by Saunders\, Adjunct Professor Julie Dunn\,
and Evelyn Chapman on the Continuum of Learning in Drama\, the session
unpacks key curriculum elements and identifies practical entry points for
engaging learning opportunities. Building on Saunders’ work with
Professor Emerita Robyn Ewing AM\, the workshop demonstrates how process
drama and drama-based strategies enrich students’ engagement with quality
children’s literature while meeting English and Drama outcomes.
Participants will leave with practical approaches and renewed confidence to
use drama as both an art form and a teaching strategy that deepens learning
across the curriculum.\n\nProgram Lead: please contact Désirée
