This project will pro vide support through workshops and focus groups (health checks) in 2023 an d 2024\, and through continued learning and planning support in 2025 and 2 026.\n\n \;\n\nFace to face support:\n\nIn semester one 2023 a ‘lead ing leaders to lead’ model of professional learning was offered to schoo l leaders with core responsibility for curriculum implementation and the d evelopment and leadership of teaching\, learning\, assessment and reportin g practices.\n\nThese face to face whole day workshop focussed on:\n\n an exploration of the implications of the revised AC v.9 for schooling and t he implementation and enactment of the curriculum through teaching and lea rning programs\n an investigation into changes and revisions in connectio n to the three dimensions of the AC v.9\n workshopping of the interactivi ty of the new AC v.9 website and of resources\n protected time to map and plan bespoke school approaches for familiarisation and implementation of the AC v.9 (across all stages of schooling and in all eight learning areas ) with support from AISSA Senior Educational Consultants and teacher exper ts.\n\n \;\n\nIn-school training videos:\n\nAttendance at face-to-face meetings is the recommended first option for schools interested in partic ipating in this practical and hands-on project. However\, to support schoo ls unable to attend face-to-face workshops\, a suite of pre-recorded train ing videos is available.\n\nThis suite includes eight\, 35 to 40-minute tr aining videos\, one for each Learning Area: English\; Health and Physical Education\; Humanities and Social Sciences\; Languages\; Mathematics\; Sci ence\; Technologies\; and The Arts.\n\nThe videos can be viewed on the Aus tralian Curriculum page.\n\n \;\n\nHealth checks for continued support \n\nIn semester two\, stage of school/learning area health checks will be offered through an online platform to schools who have participated in who le day face to face workshops in semester one\, or to schools who have vie wed the in-school training videos. These health checks will provide ongoin g support in relation to the leadership of this work in schools.
