13th September, 2018 @ 9:00 am
13/09/2018 - 14/09/2018 - 9:00 am - 3:30 pm
For Primary & Curriculum Leaders & Foundation to Year 7 Teachers who have completed the pre-requisite course/s Learning Design within the Context of the Australian Curriculum and/or Moderation: Leading Quality Assessment.
This workshop program builds on the learning undertaken in the course/s Learning Design within the Context of the Australian Curriculum and Moderation: Leading Quality Assessment in 2016 and 2017. Participation in one or both of these prior series of workshops is essential.
Every student has a Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD) and their learning is optimised when it is scaffolded at and around this zone. Designing equitable assessment tasks, inclusive of the range of student ability in a class, supports all students’ learning and is one way of operating within and planning for, a student’s ZPD.
This course supports teachers to design, use, analyse and annotate assessment for effective teaching. The second day of the workshop will be dedicated to the annotation of student work samples.
