Primary Years (3-6)

The primary years, for students aged 5-12 years and in Years R-7, is the first stage of compulsory education. Some primary schools also offer an early childhood educational service. Primary education is the foundation upon which student's build future learning. Primary years may continue to Year 7 but the structure of schools within the sector will vary as some have Middle Schools.
